i work from your photographs and, put simply, the better the photo the better the artwork.

some things to keep in mind when talking your photo:

​

the key is to try and catch as much detail as possible. the more detail, the better the artwork will be.  look at the eyes; if there’s lots of detail in them, you’re on the right lines

 

use a good quality, high resolution camera or smartphone

​

where possible, take photos in natural light

​

eye level photos tend to look best

​

ensure that the picture is fully in focus

​

try to fill the subject in the frame and send the photos in their original format (don’t crop or edit the photos) as this can decrease the size and resolution of the image
